Anuria means absence of urine formation by the kidneys. गुर्दों के द्वारा मूत्र का न बनना अमूत्रता है।
Very little urine production is called oliguria. मूत्र का अल्पमात्रा में बनना अल्पमुत्रता कहलाता है।
No urine production is called Anuria
1) Normal volume of urine should be 1litre to 1.5litres per day.
2) on a normal diet, a minimum of 300 to 500ml per day of urine is required to excrete the solute load at maximum concentration.
3) It means that minimum 300 to 500 ml of urine must be excreted by the kidneys to excrete the waste.
4) Volume of urine below 300 ml are termed oliguria 300 ml.
5) Anuria is almost total absence of urine (<50 ml / day) 50 ml.
